Kingdom tower mall refurbishment

Situated on a 100,000-square-meter site, the complex includes the 57,000-square-meter Al-Mamlaka shopping mall, premium office spaces, luxury apartments, and the renowned Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh. Crowned with a 65-meter skybridge, the tower’s upper third features a distinctive inverted parabolic arch, creating a striking architectural landmark.

The retail complex is centered around a grand atrium bathed in natural light streaming through clerestory windows. Suspended perforated metal and sandblasted glass ceiling screens filter sunlight, creating dramatic patterned surfaces that enhance the grandeur of the space. Vertical three-story kiosks add dimension to the design, while long bridges horizontally connect the floors, integrating the retail podium with nearby offices, banks, a conference center, and the hotel.

Respect for Islamic culture is evident in the design of the three-story mall. The first level is tailored to the youth and leisure market, the second to fashion and home furnishings, while the third level is exclusively for women. Inspired by the concept of the veil, this level provides a private, intimate bazaar-like environment with its own spa, business center, and dining options, ensuring an unrestricted and luxurious shopping experience for female shoppers.
